There is something so satisfying about deliberately choosing what your life looks like, and you need not reserve the dark, moody vibes for October. Life should be lived deliciously all year round. As such, NOCTURNA is a collection of what’s worth watching, seeking out, bringing home, and weaving into the rituals that make every day feel a little less ordinary.

Meet Amber Rose
Brightest blessings! I’m Amber—professional copywriter, public relations specialist, and lover of all things dark and spooky.
When I started my career in marketing and public relations, I was awestruck by the editors, bloggers, and content creators. I’ve always had a genuine love for the written word, but I didn’t realize I could actually build a career from it. After five years of professional ghostwriting and seeing that work published in trade magazines, I decided it was time to write about something fun.
I’ve always considered myself a bit of an oddity in the blogging world. My creative spirit loves the dark, the raw, and the weird, because that is where the most honest parts of being human typically show up.
Throughout NOCTURNA, you will uncover bits and pieces of me: my love for horror and alternative subcultures, an innate need to find deeper meaning in the world around me, a calming appreciation for nature and exploration, and a reverence for transgressive art.
